Rise and Shine!

Packing was difficult. When flying in China you are have a weight limit of 44 pounds of luggage that you can check. You can have one carry-on and one personal item.

I will not see Mr. Smith for 2 full weeks.
I know we will miss each other.

This is what the moon looked like the morning we left.
Do you suppose the moon looks the same in China?

Continental International Flight CO 89
August 1-2, 2007

We travelled on a very big airplane. It had 9 seats in each row.

Each seat had a mini-television screen. You could watch television or play video games. That helped to pass the time.

They fed us well on the plane. We had lunch and 2 snacks, plus plenty to drink when we got thirsty.

Miss Cloonan couldn't wait to eat!

Miss Harrison was enjoying the food!

We had to fill out many documents to gain entry into a foreign country. Without these we would not be permitted in.

I needed to use information from my passport to fill out some of the information.

Lisa, our guide in Beijing, met us at the airport. We found her when we saw the sign that she was holding.
