Mr. Robert Keim's

English Class

Letter to Parents (pdf file)

Sudden Light 2010 (pdf file)

Dear students,

Hello, and welcome to Mr. Keim's 10th grade English class! This is an outline of  general classroom expectations and policies.

The classroom rules are simple and will be posted in the room and are expected to be followed. They are:

Do your best.

Do what is right.

Be kind to others.

In this class you should plan to have homework assignments nightly. Homework is due at the beginning of class of the due date given unless otherwise specified.

If you are absent, you are expected to make up the assignments (including tests, class work and homework) missed within two class days of your return to school. Multiple days absent in a row allows for slightly longer make-up time to be determined by your teacher.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING YOUR MISSED ASSIGNMENTS.

All work is to be completed on white paper with blue or black ink. No exceptions. If you use unacceptable colors or complete an assignment in pencil, the work will be returned to you with no grade and will be considered late when you re-do them. Any word-processed assignments must be double spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman or Arial font.

Thank you very much; I look forward to a successful semester!

Mr. Robert Keim
