Most Common Errors - Portfolio pitfalls:
Sometimes typos and grammar errors have amusing results (as long as it isn't YOUR grade):
Poem about the ocean titled: “The Pounding Serf” with the error repeated throughout the poem
The irony of a disorganized portfolio’s table of contents title: “Table of Context”
About pacing, in reflection: “I really got slow going, then I picked up my paste”
Contradictory? : “I’m not sure that I did a good job, but I know I did a fantastic job”
Spellbinding imagery: “…night is a sad time of day” “When I was younger I was an insect and an animal magnet” “…adrenaline pumping through my vines”
And my personal favorite: “…it screams serenity”
And, how many times can you confuse "there, they're and their" in one short poem? HAIKU: Their in the sky Flying with there flock of birds There going to there home Don't find this one funny? Get Help! |
